DU QUOIN, IL (KFVS) - City of Du Quoin waterworks and sewerage system superintendent Jeff Whitley has lifted a boil order for a portion of the City of Du Quoin water system.

The boil order was issued for users on Maple St. from West Park St. to West Poplar St.

Whitley said repair work was being done on the lines in these areas. Therefore, the boil order was required.

DU QUOIN, IL (KFVS) - The 2013 Du Quoin Chamber of Commerce Home and Garden Show will be held at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall February 16 and 17.

The show will feature over 150 displays. Builders, exterior and interior home repair and remodeling contractors, lumber and furniture businesses, home decorators, landscapers, lawn care contractors, lawn equipment dealers, gardening specialist and advisors and more are invited to exhibit at the show.
