PERRY COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The County Health Rankings and Roadmaps have been released.

Perry County ranked 69 out of 102.

The group looks at communities across the nation and ranks them based on things like health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic, and the physical environment. They say they measure two types of health outcomes to show how healthy each county is:

• How long people live (mortality)
• How healthy people people feel (morbidity)

The County Health Rankings says these outcomes are shaped by many factors that can be influenced by policies and programs.
