Du Quoin store sells winning Powerball ticket | Events
DU QUOIN, IL (KFVS) - A store in Du Quoin has sold a winning $1 million Powerball ticket.
The winner, who has yet to claim the money, bought the ticket at One Stop Smoke Shop and Liquor on South Towne Shopping Center and won by matching all five numbers through a Quick Pick in the Saturday Sept. 22 draw.
One Stop Smoke Shop and Liquor will receive a $10,000 bonus, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling the winning ticket.
